For Easter I am reminded of one of our favorite children's books, Runaway Bunny, written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd. It's not really an Easter story, it just has cute bunnies (but here is an Easter story with bunnies)!
About Runaway Bunny:
Written in 1942, this is a classic tale of how enduring a mother's love can be for their offspring. It's about love, closeness and security. The story will comfort a young child who may wonder what their mom would do if they ran away or became lost. Children will love Little Bunny as he plays a game of verbal hide and seek with his mother. It is a classic picture book/board book that babies, toddlers and preschoolers will love. Written and illustrated by the team that did the classic Goodnight Moon.
